With a flannel top and chenille backing, this baby blanket is super soft and really warm.
In fact, the heavier weight would make for a nice lap quilt... but I think I'll stick with small projects for a while longer. Small and manageable = nearly instant gratification.

Talk about sweet! That chenille makes for an easy backing, eh? Nice work. Can you get the chenille in many colors?
I've only ever seen chenille in white, light blue, pastel pink, and the like -- but I'll bet you could find more primary colours if you hunted...
